How records move from a data feed to a public FootIndex page.
Match, squad, competition, and player records are sourced from API-Football. Selected high-profile career totals may use a dated, manually reviewed baseline when complete multi-season feed coverage is not available.
We check identifiers, teams, seasons, duplicate rows, totals, and implausible values before treating a page as ready for search indexing. Incomplete records remain accessible for discovery but are not promoted as complete references.
Statistics can reflect different update times across competitions. Pages identify when a curated baseline is used, while season tables reflect the records currently available from the data feed.
Football data changes and upstream feeds can contain errors. Readers can report an incorrect club, total, season, or achievement through the Contact page. We review corrections against the source before updating a record.
FootIndex is independently operated and is not affiliated with FIFA, UEFA, any league, club, player, or data provider beyond the stated data-service relationship.
Statistics are provided for informational purposes. We avoid presenting proxy calculations as official standings and label estimates or incomplete coverage. Commercial relationships do not determine rankings, comparisons, or corrections.
Straight answers about the product and data.
